La cantante y pianista norteamericana consigue interpretar de manera muy personal y con su registro grave de voz, el abanico de estilos que se mueven desde el jazz al soul. Apadrinada de Prince, creció en una familia de músicos escuchando a Nina Simone.
The Bad Plus
uno de los grupos de jazz con más fans del mundo por su sonido único y un directo que hace de cada concierto una experiencia inolvidable. Tras la marcha de Ethan Iverson, el grupo se ha reinventado prescindiendo precisamente del piano y ha incorporado dos músicos: el saxofonista Chris Speed y el guitarrista Ben Monder que compactan a la perfección con los veteranos Reid Anderson, contrabajista, y Dave King, batería. Esta nueva formación ha logrado una magistral sincronización siendo fiel a sus señas de identidad: unir géneros y explorar técnicas de interpretación con músicos excepcionales.
